Although apple computer has changed its logo only 3 times,(shown on top) it has a very interesting story for why they chose an apple and why it was named Apple.

Steve Jobs imagined a world where everyone had a personal computer, and that students at school would use his computers. So after he designed the very first personal computer, all he needed was a name; he chose “apple” because apples associate schools because kids would give apples to the teachers which he thought would use his computers. Unfortunately, the computer was very expensive and very few schools could buy them. In 1976 he probably thought about Sir Isaac Newton when he got hit by an apple and discovered gravity, which is another theory, and as you can guess he chose an apple for the name apple, the 1976-1998 logo was colorful and the 1998-now logo is not.
